About the author

What is an Equipping Course:
An equipping course is a Christian education program designed to train students in the area of creation apologetics. It prepares students to defend God's creation through the use of scientific evidences and facts.

The goal of an equipping course is to help students to recognize information that is used to support evolution presented in textbooks, classroom discussions, and by the media and then:

  1. Ask with confidence, scientific questions that help clarify or challenge the accuracy of information presented to support evolution.
  2. Give relevant information that supports your question or statement through the use of scientific evidences or facts and statements or quotes by scientists.
And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
2Timothy 2:2

Courses formats:
The equipping course is presented in three formats:

  1. Leader-led format. This is presented as a 14-hour course designed for the larger audiences of 30 to 100 students. This is where a qualified instructor leads the course.
  2. Self-study format for the individual type learners
  3. Video package format for Sunday school classes, Bible study groups, home school groups, and individual learners.

For detailed information about each course format click on the format type above.

    Course Cost:
Since the course is available in multiple formats the cost will depend on the format chosen.

    Leader-led format cost:
All expenses associated with an Equipping course are the responsibility of the sponsoring church(s). These cost include (but are not limited to):

  • Speaker honorarium
  • Air fare for two (course leader and assistant)
  • Motel and meals
  • Manuals for students and leaders
  • Shipping cost for manuals

We recommend that several local churches or schools sponsor the course financially and promotionally. This way the cost requirements per church are greatly reduced. In addition, charging a fee per student can offset some of the cost. A suggested cost per student is $25 to $35. For more information on cost go the download page at this web site and download the Training ETC Equipping Course Procedure Manual.doc

    Self-study format
The cost for the self-study format includes the price of the manual ($15). As an option you may also purchase the computer disk ($5) that is included with the video format package. The computer disk contains the PowerPoint slides for the course, quizzes, and answer keys.

    Video Package format
This package sells for $95. The package includes: two videos, one student manual, a leader’s guide, and a computer disk which contains the PowerPoint slides for the course, quizzes, and answer keys.
